1.What is facebook eCommerce Shop?
It’s a plugin that works on wordpress platform and allows you to set up an online shop on facebook platform where you can sell your merchandise. You can organize products, categories, customize template and much more in just few steps.
2.How do I install facebook eCommerce Shop?
You can install it on any wordpress website as plugin.
3.What do I need to get started?
You need a facebook page & a facebook application. Next you need to have a secure connection on your domain, meaning SSL (https), if you use paypal payment method you need a paypal account, if you use wire bank transfer you need a bank account and so on.
4.What kind of products can I sell on this shop?
You can sell physical products, digital products and external/affiliate products.
5. What are the existing payment methods?
The payment methods are: bank wire transfer, cash on delivery and paypal express checkout. (for now, soon we’ll integrate other methods too)
6. In marketing what are the possibilities?
Well we have product filters, featured/related products, cross sellings, product reviews & comments, analitycs on administration dashboard and social media included (facebook like, twitter, google+)
7. Is it compatible with the new facebook timeline?
Of course it is! We have both narrow and wide versions avaliable.
8. Is the template customizable?
Yes it is, you can customize all the buttons, icons, logo image, texts and so on.
9. Order confirmation email option exists?
We have custom order email with customizable template, so yes.
10. What currency does the cart support?
Our shop cart supports any currency, and the shop is also translatable in any language.
11. On a standard licence can I use it on multiple wordpress websites?
No you can’t, you need developer licence in order to do that.
12. My product images won’t appear. What do I do?
Using a FTP client go to where the plugin is installed, cache folder, right click and change htaccess permissions to 777 (make sure to do that to subfolders too)
13. I get a facebook error, what do I do?
Make sure you filled all the informations correctly. Read the user manual/ watch the tutorial and recheck again. If it’s still not working open a ticket on support forum
